Off-White and KATSU present their Offkat collection

Off-White presents together with the american graffiti artist KATSU its capsule collection Offkat. Find out all the details.

After celebrating their last and long-awaited fashion show during Paris fashion week, Off-White and its creative director, Virgil Abloh, are back in the news again because of their latest collaboration with the New York artist and graffiti artist, KATSU. This new alliance has to do with nothing more and nothing less than the design of a collection of men’s and women’s clothing that both have designed, which was presented on 9 July in Beijing (China).

Taking the union of both names as the title of the collaboration, Offkat, it is worth noting the desire that both creatives had to work together, since, as the designer Virgil Abloh has stated, he has considered himself a great fan of the graffiti artist for a long time. But in case some of you still don’t know who KATSU is, he is none other than one of the most important experimental street artists of the 2000s, who now focuses on art, vandalism and dark technology.

This collab presents a clear mix of eccentric pieces inspired by street art and linked with ready-to-wear. The collection ranges from tailored suits, flared chino trousers, pleated skirts with graphic paint designs, leather blazers and deconstructed dresses. Finally, the collection offers a gender-neutral appeal, allowing for movement between pieces.

What do you think of Off-White’s latest Offkat collection in collaboration with KATSU? If you liked it, just know that it’s already available in the Beijing shop and in other retailers stores of the brand, but in limited quantities.
