The SS20 Off-White collection has included the latest work with Nike and the long-awaited collaboration with Futura that was announced a few days ago by Instagram.
Under the name PLASTIC, Off White’s SS20 collection has explored this material as a leitmotiv in some of the most powerful outfits that have paraded down the catwalk. The ultra-light plastic covered jackets and windbreakers that displayed the logo of the Off-White and Futura collaboration.

The collection featured garments covered in doodles and graffiti that combined urban style with effortless tailoring. Tie-dyed jeans, cargo trousers, monochrome white looks, soft fabrics, transparencies and workwear were some of the most commented and applauded bets of the new Off White collection. The Nike SB Dunk Lows collaborated with the firm on the catwalk, while other models wore oversize sandals or aesthetic hiking boots.
The Futura capsule has fulfilled all expectations. Before Paris Fashion Week began, Virgil Abloh revealed the collaboration of Off White and Futura through his Instagram. At that time we only knew the logo, which shows the silhouette of the artist’s character Nosferatu combined with the X characteristic of Off White. The concept that the union of both geniuses has created has built a brutal imaginary on the catwalk, giving a new twist to the street with that savoir faire that can boast the designer.
One of Futura’s sculptures stood over the public next to the catwalk, in the middle of a field of white carnations that has covered the entire stage. At the end of the show, some women’s looks appeared. Gigi Hadid was in charge of closing the fashion show while other models passed between the flowers that surrounded the catwalk.
