Louis Vuitton once again proves its affinity for young talent with the signing of Alysa Liu. At just 20 years old, the figure skater — a discipline that blends technique, strength and choreographic expression on ice — has established herself as one of the leading figures of her generation. Specialising in women’s figure skating, Liu stands out for her ability to execute complex jumps while conveying a strong stage presence in every programme.

Liu reaches this moment following a landmark achievement at the 2026 Winter Olympic Games, where she secured two gold medals and became the first American in 24 years to win Olympic gold in the women’s event. Beyond her sporting accomplishments, her signature streaked hair and relaxed attitude have already become a visual extension of the energy that Vuitton now embraces. From a creative standpoint, Nicolas Ghesquière makes it clear: Liu represents the contemporary Louis Vuitton woman.

In fact, this connection had already been taking shape. At the Autumn/Winter 2026 show, the skater appeared in a brown Speedy Patch denim look paired with the Squire East West Monogram canvas bag, proving her presence works just as well on the runway as it does on the ice. Off the runway, the relationship was further cemented at the 2026 Vanity Fair Oscars party, where Liu opted for a black mini dress with pearl detailing and satin heels, bringing her aesthetic narrative into a more refined space.
