Opening Ceremony has a birthday. It’s not every day that you celebrate 20 years in the fashion industry. This is cause for celebration, so to commemorate this date and to thank its customers for their support and trust, O.C. has decided to do it in a special way. How? By partnering with the popular New York brand LUAR.
The collaboration celebrates the friendship between Raúl López and OC’s Humberto León and Carol Lim, which goes back 15 years, and consists of two exclusive colourways of the iconic “Ana bag”: one in brown pony hair and the other in vegan leather with snakeskin embossing.
In addition to the bags and to complement them, the duo have designed a black sweatshirt with Dominican-American artist Bony Ramirez’s “Feeding a Child of the Ocean” on the back.
Needless to say, how excited all the members of the collaboration are to be able to be together on this project. What’s better than working among friends? Nothing, and if there’s mutual admiration in between, even better…
