A huge room in ruins receives thousands of spectators eager to see the latest proposal of the brand directed by Christa Bosch and Cósima Gradient. Seats of recycled cardboard arranged in a kind of large accordion serve as seating for the guests.
Ottolinger has taker motorcore aesthetic to its maximum exponent. Without having to resort to leather to join the trend, the designers create the perfect closet for the true motomami. Wool wool outfits in hooded jersey and skirt or croo and miniskirt open the show, followed by printed stretch pieces that enhance the figure of the Ottolinger woman. As the fashion show progresses, the proposal is gaining strength. The down jackets and pants appear in different materials, with the classic Ottolinger shapes, like a jigsaw puzzle. The more Ottolinger garments are combined with more tender ones such as corsets and other sequined pieces, fur coats and velvet suits.
The motomami is certainly spoiled for choice. She is even given the opportunity to get married in an Ottolinger dress. It is the white dress in the purest style of the brand that ends a brilliant catwalk.
And with the new Ottolinger show comes new collaborations. If last season was the collaboration with Camper, this FW23 the Berlin brand unveils collaboration with Puma. Patent leather bags and biker boot sneakers are coming soon. And you’ll have to hurry to get your hands on them, because they’re sure to fly.
Abstraction and reconstruction, in that Christa Bosch and Cosima Gradient are the queens, and this season they have done it experimenting with other silhouettes in an impressive space that does justice to the collection. Undoubtedly, the appointment with Ottolinger is one not to be missed at Paris Fashion Week.
