Introducing its first Resort Collection, Berlin-based label Ottolinger presented a SS23 collection full of energy and confidence, with a lookbook captured by photographer Mark Peckmezian.
Ottolinger Resort 23 is the reason you can, not only achieve anything that comes to your mind, but also overcome every obstacle in the way. Like a love letter to all Ottolinger lovers, Christa Bösch y Cosima Gadient have managed to build the super heroine of everyday life in a brilliant way. They use their classic siluettes combining them with shocking colors as purple, green and orange. The denim two-piece appears in the proposal along with the usual knotted streams of fabric, klay bags and goo-covered jewelry. Also, picnic prints from Georgia Gardner Gray are reimagined for this season in skirts and two piece sets.
Approaching the Resort 23 season as another one for the year, tells us a lot of how strong the comittment of Ottolinger with its audience is. It’s clear that both designers want to push forward the brand and include more ideas on the table. They already have a strong identity around their mesh, knits, strappy dresses, and outerwear but it seems that they need something more than that. The more seasons, the bigger the challenge is; but the better they achieve the expectations. At least so far.
