Our Legacy presents its sartorial vision for the autumn-winter 2022 season bathed in the fantasy and aesthetic experimentation of youth.
This exploration of codes associated with the new generations, such as face stickers and/or the great beauty trend of the Z generation, coexist in the same imaginary that reinterprets formal wear in the purest style of the independent brand.
“It’s a step towards timeless dressing and a foot in conservative classics, styles that are a bit ‘tweaked’, retouched and skewed, and also maintaining the fine balance between casual and original wardrobe,” says creative director Christopher Nying about the collection.
The revision of formal wear through the look and spontaneity of youth can be denoted by oversized shirts combined with shiny thigh-high maxi boots, square-cut coats or tailored suits with a worn-out effect.
The collection is colored in a palette of neutral colors altered by subtle eccentric touches amid arrhythmic combinations composed of pleated skirts over flowing trousers or lace bralettes with long shirts. Also by stylistic fusions such as sweatshirts under blazers that just offer that semi-casual look.
