In a revolutionary move that blends racing speed and street fashion, Palace Skateboards and Kappa have teamed up with the BWT Alpine F1 Team to launch a capsule collection called ‘PALACE KAPPA FOR ALPINE’ that will redefine the style stakes at the Las Vegas Grand Prix.
The collaboration features an exclusive design for the A523 car’s bodywork and a fashion collection selected by Kappa. David Gendry, VP Alpine Sponsoring, Partnerships and Communications, says: “We are very excited to unveil this unique collaboration with the iconic Palace brand together with our partner Kappa. It was the first time for Alpine to work on a joint project where modern fashion meets sports brands so perfectly.”
Palace’s iconic ‘Tri-ferg’ logo and the Palace Kappa joint logo take centre stage in the capsule collection which features 10 key pieces. From pit jackets and waterproof jackets to waistcoats, pit shorts, tracksuits and technical polo shirts. Palace classics such as hoodies and t-shirts complete the collection, all sporting the brand’s distinctive logo.
The collaboration goes beyond fashion and includes a unique bodywork designed by Palace for the A523 car, specially created for the Las Vegas Grand Prix. The official suits of BWT Alpine F1 Team drivers Pierre Gasly and Esteban Ocon, along with the team, will feature the Palace Kappa design. “We are excited to dress the BWT Alpine F1 Team car, drivers and pit crew for the Las Vegas Grand Prix: a street race at night in one of the craziest and most beautiful places on Earth,” says the PALACE team.
