Palace x adidas drops new sk8 shoes by Lucas Puig

Palace x adidas Skateboarding drops a new skating silhouette signed by Lucas Puig, bathed in three dreamy colors. Sk8 or die.

A sneaker is a gun’, and even more so when it is signed by skater Lucas Puig. Palace x adidas Skateboarding makes that new skating silhouette a reality, bathed in three colors, as well as presented through a comic teaser of a monkey talking on the phone. Sk8 or die.

These sneakers become the third adidas shape signed by the French skater from the Palace crew (@palaceskateboards) since 2017. The previous models are ‘Lucas Puig Pro’ from 2012 and ‘Lucas Premiere ADV’ from 2016.

The codes of the streetwear brands are united in these sportswear dyed in a tricolor palette: pink, white and black, dressed in a flexible and monochromatic leather. The name ‘Puig’ is inscribed in gold on the side, while the Palace logo is attached to the top of the tongue. There is also a metal support on the upper part over the system of armored laces.

If we go to the rubber sole, we can see the Palace graphics engraved, until we reach the heel where the Trefoil’s signature, in this case the @adidaskateboarding line, includes its logo along with contrasting stripes: white on the pink pair, red on the white pair and blue on the black pair. Due to the abstract traction pattern used on the sole and this resistant heel decoration, they offer a slight dose of driving shoe style.

This Palace x adidas Skateboarding Puig Pro will be released on the Palace USA and Europe webstore on May 22nd. The sales price has not yet been revealed. Thoughts about these new skateboarding sneakers, cop or drop?
