Emerging global artist Paloma Mami joins Bershka to create a spring/summer capsule collection designed in collaboration with the fashion brand.
The launch of the collection took place today, which is also the date of the presentation of her debut album Sueños de Dalí. The collection includes three style variations that are taken from Paloma’s own universe and represent the contrast between oversized and fitted garments so characteristic of the artist’s style. To celebrate the launch, the Bershka campaign video includes Paloma’s new single, Traumada.
The first variant is inspired by Paloma’s street-style looks, featuring striking black and white ensembles – with tight-fitting bottoms and loose bottoms – and the inscription “Mami”, as well as brightly colored outfits with thermal prints
The collection combines natural colors and denim, but if you take a closer look, you’ll realize that you’re actually wearing part of Paloma’s personal photo gallery, as photos from her phone (selfies included) have been selected and enlarged or transformed into repeating patterns. The third variant is designed to make a splash, with white-on-white ensembles and jewelry inspired by Paloma’s musical performance universe, plus a couple of selected accessories to complete the collection.
