Paula’s Ibiza Eclectic by LOEWE: More festive, more cheerful and decidedly eclectic

Bottled escapism is the spirit of Paula’s Ibiza Eau de Toilette launched in 2020, which captured the Balearic spirit and fun inherent in LOEWE’s capsule collection.

LOEWE Paula’s Ibiza Eclectic is the name of the second fragrance launched this season: a new, even more joyful and fun expression of the idea of letting go. This is part and parcel of the Paula’s way of being.

Eclectic is a woody, floral and gourmand Eau de Toilette, created by LOEWE‘s creative director, Jonathan Anderson, and the maison’s perfumer, Nuria Cruelles. A fragrance for men and women, because Paula’s knows no boundaries.

Summer, Paula’s, is both a season and a mood that invites escapism. And Eclectic evokes it in a composition as joyful and sensorially charged as a house party.

Orange blossom absolute and wild, nocturnal jasmine sambac combine with fresh notes of mandarin and black pepper from Madagascar. Exotic frankincense essential oil and Lebanon resin linger in the heart, while gourmand notes of coconut and vanilla are accented by rich ylang ylang, musk and soft, woody Australian sandalwood.

The fragrance is presented in a cylindrical glass bottle with faded shades that range in colour from deep purple to turquoise blue to fern green, and is topped with a matte orange cap. The same colours reappear in the decorative pattern that adorns the cylindrical box bottle, taken from the original Paula’s Ibiza archives, as envisioned by founders Armin Heinemann and Stuart Rudnick: purple fish, orange lilies and green water lilies.

Wild and hedonistic, Paula’s Ibiza Eclectic captures the joy of freedom and partying in a fragrance, reflecting the sensual and energetic spirit of the collection. A collection that is marked by a new sense of sensuality and body awareness. The garments sparkle with the shimmer of sequins while skin peeks out in the short hemlines; the loops and cut-outs. Eclectic exudes the sunny Balearic simplicity and carefree attitude that is quintessentially Ibiza.

The accompanying visual portfolio was shot by Gray Sorrenti in Ibiza, inside and outside Casa Broner. The protagonists are captured partying, mingling and having fun in what turns out to be a never-ending celebration, bringing to life the hedonism and sensuality of the fragrance and the collection.
