Peaky Blinders has finally announced the premiere date for its final season: 27 February 2022. That is the day on which the first of six episodes will be broadcast in the UK, premiering every Sunday on the BBC.
The series is set to return for its sixth and final season on 27 February at 9pm on BBC, with new episodes coming every Sunday. The premiere date was revealed on Tuesday morning via a huge mural in Birmingham. However, we still don’t know when Peaky Blinders will premiere on Netflix.
The sixth season of Peaky Blinders has been long delayed due to the Covid-19 pandemic, but its premiere is finally just around the corner. With the threat of fascism gathering force in the British Parliament and World War II looming, season six promises to be just as exciting as previous seasons.
Cillian Murphy returns as Tommy Shelby, alongside Tom Hardy, Paul Anderson, Finn Cole, Anya Taylor-Joy and Sophie Rundle, among others. Murphy’s co-star Helen McRory passed away in April last year and will not appear. The sixth season of Peaky Blinders is directed by Anthony Byrne and based on a script written by Knight.
