Amid all the drama Pete Davidson has been embroiled in with Kanye West, the Saturday Night Live star has once again returned to Instagram and West is among his new followers.
A new verified account that is apparently Davidson’s appeared this week under the handle @pmd. While there are no posts yet, the number of followers is growing rapidly after Page Six reported on the existence of this Instagram.
Davidson left Instagram in 2018 for his mental health: “No, there’s nothing wrong. Nothing happened. No, there’s nothing cryptic about anything. I don’t want to be on Instagram anymore. Or on any social media platform.” He further explained that the internet is a “wicked place” and that it doesn’t make him “feel good” anymore.
Since then, Kim Kardashian’s new boyfriend has returned to Instagram several times, and has always gone back to deactivating his accounts. Now he’s back with a new moniker, and we don’t know if it’s to defend himself against West, who hasn’t held back in recent months to verbally attack the SNL star.
West has taken every opportunity to criticize Davidson in an effort to win Kardashian back, despite having been with Julia Fox until just a few days ago. However, Davidson and Kardashian have largely stayed out of the media spotlight.
