The brand founded by Phoebe Philo is beginning to consolidate its position following its return to the market. The company has filed its 2024 accounts with Companies House, the UK companies registry, and includes an unusual detail: a revenue forecast for 2025. This is particularly significant given that 2024 was, to a large extent, still a year of ramp-up.

Growth and consolidation

The brand expects to reach revenues of £32 million in 2025, confirming a sharp acceleration of the business despite its controlled growth strategy. In 2024, revenue stood at just under £11.2 million, compared with £5.2 million in 2023, with a gross profit of £5.7 million.

As is common at this stage of development, losses widened. Operating losses reached almost £23.5 million, while the loss before and after tax totalled £24.38 million, compared with £21.77 million in the previous financial year.

The company describes 2023 and 2024 as key years for laying the foundations of the project. The financial year ended on 31 December 2024 marked its first full year of sales, a period that helped prepare the ground for new revenue streams and sustained growth, already reflected in the 2025 forecasts.

Commercial and brand expansion

In 2024, the company launched its e-commerce platform and strengthened its wholesale channel through agreements in key global fashion capitals, a strategy that continued into 2025. That same year, the brand opened its first physical retail space in France at Galeries Lafayette Haussmann in Paris, and in November inaugurated its first shop-in-shop in London at Dover Street Market.

At the end of 2024, the company began its expansion into the Asia-Pacific region, entering the Chinese wholesale market in September. The business highlights a positive initial response from both distributors and high-net-worth customers in the region.

In parallel, Phoebe Philo strengthened its digital presence. In 2024, the brand reached 28.6 million social media impressions, up 48% year on year, and recorded a repeat customer rate of 28% in the first 18 months since launch.
