Since the Atlanta man, Playboi Carti (@playboicarti), entered the game, he has not stopped positioning himself among the best international rappers. He now surprises us with the release of his first studio album, “Die Lit“, made up of 19 songs in which his collaborations with the greatest of the current scene stand out. Among them: Nicki Minaj, Young Thug, Skepta, Lil Uzi Vert, Bryson Tiller, Travis Scott, Chief Keef or Pi’erre Bourne.
At the beginning of the month we could already listen to one of the tracks of the album, “Love Hurts” where he and Travis Scott showed us an idea of how his first LP was going to sound. Work that has undoubtedly exceeded all our expectations.
One of the things that rappers fans fear the most is the jump from the mixtape to the album, because that’s where they usually lose their essence and style. However, Carti has renounced this musical evolution and has chosen to continue offering the same musical line as in his previous mixtape. Since the release of “Magnolia” Carti has released collaborations with Lana del Rey, A$AP Rocky, Quavo and Frank Ocean. This makes it clear to us that the industry has enjoyed his new work.
