Pop Trading Company focuses its SS21 collection on basics. The lookbook, presented in collaboration with Amsterdam-based artist Thomas van Rijs, dignifies the expression “less is more”. Once again, classic codes gain the upper hand.
Pop Trading Company has just unveiled the lookbook for its upcoming SS21 collection through a series of images that elevate the meaning of basic garments. Long-sleeved T-shirts, polo shirts and knitted vests are the focus of Pop SS21.
Classy and timeless. Undoubtedly, the aim of the collection has been to design garments that are perfect for everyday wear. The striped prints, the outerwear, as well as different accessories stand out. All conceived under the idea of elevating basic shapes, only accentuated by vibrant color combinations.
In collaboration with the artist Thomas van Rijs (@thomas_van_rijs), Pop Trading Company proposes a series of pieces that are the result of both creatives. Famous for interpreting his memories and experiences in his artwork, Rijs has introduced his paintings in a selection of garments and redesigned the brand’s logo.
The launch will take place on February 6 and will be available online as well as in the Pop store in Amsterdam.
