“Quick Tide” by Felipe Pantone brings dynamism to The Tide

Felipe Pantone has been commissioned to bring dynamism to The Tide, London’s elevated linear park, with a striking installation.

Felipe Pantone, one of the most relevant artists of the contemporary scene, has been in charge of filling The Tide, London’s first elevated linear park, with a striking installation.

This is the first UK commission by artist Felipe Pantone, renowned for his stylistic collision between an analogue past and a digitised future. The dynamically colourful installation wraps around the elevated facades of The Tide, a space on the banks of the Thames where you can stroll, work out and now enjoy artworks such as Pantone’s.

The acclaimed Argentinian-Spanish artist was commissioned to transform one of the area’s walkways into an eye-catching journey from Peninsula Square to Thames Path. Called ‘Quick Tide’, the installation incorporates his kaleidoscopic aesthetic by mixing coloured vinyls to give visitors unique perspectives and experiences depending on the time of day and their location.

Felipe Pantone’s “Quick Tide” is free of charge and will open to the public tomorrow, 6 May.
