Rejina Pyo returns to the LFW runways introducing a new femininity

Rejina Pyo returns to the London Fashion Week runways with her most sustainable collection and introducing a new concept of femininity.

Rejina Pyo is celebrating not only her pregnancy, but also her return to the runways of London Fashion Week (LFW), since the pandemic Pyo had not held a fashion show.

Held at the London Aquatic Centre and featuring performances by British Olympic team divers Emily Martin, Josie Zilling and Robyn Birch, R.P. presented her Spring/Summer 2022 proposal full of colour and simple, functional garments with a certain fresh touch and with the aim of adding light to the eternal grey days of the London city.

Among the garments in the collection, we have to highlight the opening look of the show, which was composed of a transparent orange shirt knotted at the waist and accompanied by a lime green lace knitted garment and a pink bikini bottom. We also have to point out her garments with mouse-shaped graphics, honouring her young son, chairs, birds and cars, which the designer relates as a fragment of a dream. Finally, it should be noted that this was her most sustainable collection, as some of her garments were made from recycled Italian nylon, and the jeans were made from organic denim.
