The Monte-Carlo Beach Hotel hosted the Chanel Cruise 2022 Collection directed by Virgine Viard. An event that brought together important personalities, including the fashion house’s global ambassadors.
An ode to Karl Lagerfeld through a relaxed proposal in tune with the spirit of the Chanel Cruise Collections. The show was held at the iconic hotel on the shores of the Mediterranean, on the rocky cliffs of the Principality of Monaco.
In the new garments we could appreciate the clear references to Formula 1 and the Monaco Grand Prix, as well as nods to the colours of the Principality and the luxurious essence that surrounds the place.
Among those attending the event were icons such as Tilda Swinton, Kristen Stewart, Vanessa Paradis and Sofia and Roman Coppola, who all wore stunning Chanel outfits.
“For me, Monaco is a question of feelings above all else. It’s Karl, Caroline and Charlotte. I knew very early on that we would do a fashion show there, and more specifically at the Beach Hotel. Besides, Karl dreamed about it. From this magnificent location, you can look down on his villa, La Vigie. I will never forget the moments I spent there: terraces and balconies, big umbrellas, baskets of flowers… so much beauty,” says Virgine Viard.
