Relevant Parties Vol.2: On-U Sound + Exit Records

The second release of RELEVANT PARTIES Vol. 2 will be launched on
17th February. In it, Carhartt WIP teams up with two iconic independent record labels: Exit Records and On-U Sound.

The launch of these products will be marked by two events. At the Carhartt WIP shop in Antwerp, Exit founder dBridge will perform a live DJ set alongside Fixate, Skeptical and Amos. At the Carhartt WIP shop in King’s Cross, London producer and owner of On-U Sound, Adrian Sherwood, Daddy Freddy, Felix Hall and TTB.

RELEVANT PARTIES is a Carhartt WIP project exploring independent music, with a podcast hosted by British journalist Chal Ravens. Each episode talks about the people behind the music, to learn about their story and the inner workings of their label. The project culminates in a capsule collection featuring products made in collaboration with each label.

Volume 2 offers an eclectic view, bringing together a range of labels including: Bill Kouligas’ PAN, legendary producer Adrian Sherwood and his On-U Sound label; Busy P’s Ed Banger Records; Exit Records, run by Busy P; Exit Records, run by producer dBridge; Amsterdam label, record shop and distributor Rush Hour; and the iconic Detroit Mahogani Music, founded by Kenny Dixon Jr, better known as Moodymann.
