Religion, art and fashion come together at Dior’s FW23 Haute Couture show

The Tree of Life takes centre stage at Dior’s Fall/Winter 2022 Haute Couture show.

The Tree of Life takes centre stage at Dior’s Fall/Winter 2023 Haute Couture show. Maria Grazia Chiuri was inspired by the Ukrainian artist Olesia Trogymenko for her designs.

Religion, art and fashion meet to recall the era when the Church influenced the State. Flowing outfits combining beige and ivory tones are mixed with Victorian gothic, tartan or mesh dresses.

Colours such as navy blue, pastel pink and deep wine also stand out, while conservative turtleneck styles do not go unnoticed.

During the show we also find strong outerwear that embraces the fine embroidery of the designs or the floral prints that accompany the lace-up boots. The tree of life appears adorning the chest of an exclusive black tulle dress, a Chiuri hallmark.
