Luxury and streetwear meet once again. After the launch of Louis Vuitton x Nike Air Force 1 comes Travis Scott x Dior. Have you ever imagined skateboarding in sneakers of this calibre? Now you can.
Without a doubt, this drop is the most old skool collaboration of the season. During Paris Fashion Week, rumours of haute couture sneaker launches are commonplace. Well, we have the images of one of the most eagerly awaited collaborations.
It’s the trainers designed by Travis Scott and Kim Jones together with Dior’s men’s footwear designer, Thibo (@_thibo). The silhouette is loaded with skate culture references, featuring a thick sole and numerous reinforcements throughout the piece.
The sneakers are presented in different materials such as leather, canvas or suede and come in different colourways ranging from the most fluorescent to the most subdued tones. The distinctive diamond-shaped ‘CD‘ logo on the heel and tongue stands out, as well as different engravings on the heel and sides.
We still don’t know the official release date, but Travis Scott x Dior is expected to be released in summer 2022.
