The new collection of mental health artworks entitled “Confessions Of A Crowded Mind” opened on 20 June and will be open to the public until 20 November. Robbie was on hand to unveil the 17 never-before-seen works. Flowing freely from a crowded mind, the artist’s latest works aim to inspire viewers to collectively embrace every part of themselves.
The international superstar creates art daily as a way to cope with the pressures of life in the public eye. Following the success of Robbie’s first solo exhibition at the Moco Museum in Amsterdam – where more than 100,000 people visited his first exhibition chapter, “Pride and self-prejudice” – the British icon is now bringing a new exhibition to Barcelona to inspire people to transform their fears and anxieties into creativity.
Robbie Williams said: “Opening my first solo art exhibition at the Moco Museum in Amsterdam has been pure joy. I’m inspired to do more, so I’m delighted to unveil this new collection of art at Moco Museum Barcelona, where I hope it will encourage people to accept themselves and express their truth.”
Kim Logchies-Prins, Director and Curator of the Moco Museum, added: “We are incredibly proud that Robbie has chosen us to present his first museum exhibition. Like Robbie, I believe in the healing power of art in dealing with mental health issues. Art, like Robbie’s, can inspire as well as offer comfort and connection”.
