It was half an hour past five in the morning on Tuesday morning in Spain when Rosalía pressed the “live” button on her Instagram. “In 30 minutes live?” the singer anticipated on her X account. While she was getting her nails done and talking to her fans, the singer did not hesitate to share, with the naturalness that characterises her, a fragment of her new work. You can hear phrases like: “I’m Rosalía and I only know how to serve” and even references to La Zowi.
It has been more than a year since she released new solo music -Tuya arrived in June 2023- and this release marks the start of a new era. The singer turns to rap in a melodic and experimental track that talks about purity in the world of music. There is no confirmed release date or official title, but considering that August has just begun, it wouldn’t be surprising if Rosalía releases the studio version in early September.
The Spanish star has also revealed that she will be collaborating with Lisa, a member of the group Blackpink, on a rap song. A street billboard has confirmed the collaboration. In it, the verse ‘pulling up fresh face brand new day’ is accompanied by two incomplete names in the style of the hangman, in which we can deduce on one side that of LaLisa and on the other that of Rosalía. So are we talking about the same song or will it be a different track?
