Anthony Vaccarello presents his Fall/Winter 2023 women’s collection and it has already become one of the highlights of Paris Fashion Week.

Artistic director Anthony Vaccarello offered a spectacle of beauty and classic elegance that characterizes Saint Laurent.

The space in which the fashion show was held was illuminated by the dim light of huge chandeliers and was inspired by the ballroom of the Intercontinental Hotel, where the brand presented its collections for several years. The idea of contrasting the antique with the modern also applies to the line’s own garments.

Vaccarello conveys the power of elegance and luxury in his collection, bringing the characteristic drama of 80s fashion and, as it could not be otherwise in Saint Laurent, the 50 silhouettes that paraded exude great sensuality and femininity.

The key is in the silhouettes: mini skirts and pencil skirts are responsible for lengthening the body, and thin belts define the figure sharp. Fitted tank tops, long bikers and polished trouser suits are some of the examples in which Vaccarello draws inspiration from the masculine to achieve an elegant and sensual feminine closet. Tweed, tartan, houndstooth and velvet decorate the suits with skirts, blazers and blouses. Leather also bring elegance to the collection in biker jackets and accessories.

And speaking of FW23… Don’t miss Maximilian Davis’ second work at Ferragamo.
