The Seoul Metropolitan Government has announced that the South Korean capital will build the world’s largest leverless Ferris wheel.
Named the Seoul Ring, this impressive attraction will be located in Haneul Park for its views, accessibility and proximity to several of the city’s tourist attractions.
Its structure will represent a technological breakthrough as the cabins will move without the need for radios. It will be 180 metres high and will have 36 carriages with a capacity for 25 people each. In addition, it will run on 100% renewable energy.
As confirmed, construction will start in June 2025 and is expected to be completed in December 2027.
And speaking of giant constructions… Did you know that the Great Egyptian Museum will open this year?
