On Friday 12 February, a new Chinese year begins and Stüssy x Dior have already made their way to celebrate in style. As expected, they have created a collection full of elegance, but with urban touches. A capsule inspired by 2021, the year of the ox.
With the Chinese New Year just around the corner, Kim Jones, Creative Director of Dior Men, and Shawn Stüssy have decided to launch their more thematic collaboration. This time, the line revolves around the symbol of the ox and includes different garments, sneakers and accessories to start the year off right.
It was the French firm‘s 2020 autumn collection that first brought these two firms together, but it is the 2021 collection that is going to be the most successful. The collaboration continues to stand out for the iconic graffiti-style Dior logo that the skater brand made for the previous collection.
Sweatshirts, T-shirts or shirts are some of the garments that seal the new alliance between Shawn Stüssy and Dior. We can’t leave out, the star garment of the collection: a baseball style jacket. It has the silhouette of the ox on the back filled with Dior logos, a must for the season.
The capsule also features high-top slippers and the famous redesigned Dior B27 model. As well as a navy blue rucksack that comes with a removable ox-silhouette badge, jewellery, an XXL scarf, a tie or a French maison badge.
