Sonar launches first batch of names… And we’ve already been convinced

Within the scope of music festivals there is one that always stands out for its avant-garde and future vision: El Sonar. Today we have met the first batch of confirmed artists… and we can already tell you that this promises.

Although during these 25 years the festival has expanded and already have events spread over 5 continents in more than 20 cities, undoubtedly the Barcelona edition remains, in many respects, the most important. This year we were eagerly awaiting the names that will make us dance in July 2019… and now, at last, we have this long-awaited advance.

At SONAR 2019 we will dance with the current hip-hop king A$AP Rocky, the grime icon Skepta, a new Disclosure show and the much awaited Paul Kalkbrenner live. Also joining the program: new audiovisual shows by Deena Abdelwahed and Lotic, exciting concerts by Nicola Cruz and K Á R Y Y Y N, DJ sets by heavyweights Dixon, Floating Points (with a set of 6 hours), Maya Jane Coles, Amelie Lens, Andy C, Artwork, Blawan & Dax J, and shows by Ross From Friends, Bad Gyal, Brat Star and Octavian… And this is just the beginning.

Remember that this year SONAR varies the dates for the first time, going from June to July, 18, 19 and 20 July 2019. This will not be a problem for festival lovers.

The full season ticket for Sonar 2019 is now available for only €170, while the VIP season ticket is available for €270. Both passes can be purchased at this price only until January on the Sonar website.
