Stella Mccartney takes us back to Disney’s Fantasia film

Stella Mccartney continues its collaboration with Disney and presents a new collection inspired by the film Fantasia. The launch playfully blends fashion and fantasy through irreverent pieces, reflecting the desire to escape reality, transporting a new generation into an imaginary world inspired by the classic Disney animation.

 

Stella Mccartney and Disney’s collaboration stands out for taking images from the film Fantasia and turning them into summer garments made from sustainable materials. In addition, the pieces in the collection make reference to iconic animation characters, so some of them include motifs such as Mickey Mouse‘s hands and 1940s posters.

There are also knitwear pieces with Mickey and magic broom graphics. Reinterpreting the night skies of the film, the knitwear incorporates PVC-free sequins. Add to this the organic cotton of fringed kaftans and the original Disney graphics distorted and mixed into dresses that give the effect of vintage T-shirts.

There are also organic cotton jeans with vintage aesthetics, such as light blue washes and galactic washes. In addition, there is a hooded jacket with a new Stella logo and Mickey prints on the back. The collection also includes accessories such as bucket hats, flip flops, trainers, caps and a wide selection of bags: mini bags, shoulder bags, and more.
