The creative alliance between Stone Island and Dover Street Market has given birth to a winter collection that promises to captivate seekers of high quality garments. The heart of this collaboration lies in the harmonious fusion of styles, where Stone Island’s design expertise meets Dover Street Market’s avant-garde sensibility. The result is a line of garments that promise to keep you warm in the months ahead.
The capsule stands as a universe of black pieces, each adorned with a silkscreen print of the Dover Street Market logo, delicately offset under the distinctive Stone Island emblem. This artistic gesture adds a touch of exclusivity to each garment, highlighting the meticulous attention to detail that defines this collaboration.
The Stone Island x Dover Street Market collection focuses not only on fashion, but also on protective functionality for winter rigors. Three garment-dyed coat silhouettes are crafted in the iconic David-TC Down fabric, born from Stone Island’s meticulous research. From a quilted coat with a PrimaLoft® P.U.R.ETM inner layer to a short hooded parka filled with premium down, each piece is designed with a clear purpose: to provide protection without compromising style.
In addition to outerwear, the 20-piece series includes organic cotton overshirts, wool knitwear and cargo pants. Each garment is presented as a unique piece. Seven pieces from Stone Island’s Ghost range stand as the jewels of the collection. Completely monochromatic, these black-on-black garments elegantly incorporate the Stone Island emblem. From an O-Ventile parka with detachable hood to a hooded jacket with strategically placed pockets, each garment in this line is defined by its minimalist aesthetic and commitment to functionality.
To celebrate the launch, the collection will be unveiled at Dover Street Market London tomorrow, Thursday October 12th and Dover Street Market Ginza this Saturday October 14th, in special installations that pay homage to the rich heritage of both brands. Statues in black in London and an installation of Pure Metal Shell jackets in Ginza will evoke the essence of the collection, as well as the art and history that lie at the heart of each brand.
The Stone Island x Dover Street Market collection not only promises an unforgettable experience, but also a tribute to the protective function of technical garments and the avant-garde style that characterizes both brands.
