Supreme teams up with Dickies for a new collection for the autumn 2021 season. The launch focuses all eyes on three key pieces: the quilted jacket and trouser ensemble and the coverall that follows the same pattern.
In 1922, Dickies® founders C.N. Williamson and E.E. “Colonel” Dickie began manufacturing denim overalls for ranchers and farm workers throughout the Southwest. During World War II, the brand was sequestered by the US government. It was then forced to stop its consumer business to produce nine million heavy-duty twill uniforms. The aim was to design uniforms for the war effort.
In 1967, the 874® twill work trousers were developed with the durable 65% polyester/35% cotton blend fabric that would later become their signature. Today, Dickies® remains internationally renowned for quality, strength and value.
The Supreme x Dickies collection will be available from 23 December via the New York-based brand’s website.
