TELFAR designs White Castle uniforms for its 100th anniversary

White Castle and Telfar are once again collaborating on a limited edition uniform collection to celebrate the food company’s 100th anniversary. The fast food chain is celebrating 100 years of its socially engaged restaurant franchise serving communities across the United States. 

This new uniform collection includes: T-shirt, polo shirt, apron, visor and a durag, as a highlight. The durag has been previously requested by the food chain’s workers , and has finally arrived courtesy of Telfar, a brand loyal to durags. Therefore, this becomes White Castle’s first hair accessory for workers. Collaboration’s clothes come in light and electric blue or black. Each piece is inscribed with the brand’s name “White Castle” and message “Celebrating 100 Years and Counting”.

In addition to designing employee uniforms, TELFAR has also created a limited edition capsule with White Castle.  This collection includes caps, hoodies and t-shirts, featuring a combination of both the food chain and the brand logos. Proceeds generated from TELFAR x White Castle collection will be donated to the Robert F. Kennedy Justice and Human Rights Freedom Fund, which provides bail for young incarcerated.

Collaboration comes at a time when both the food and fashion industries have suffered the devastation of COVID-19. However, it’s not the first time they work together. TELFAR and White Castle first met in 2015, when Telfar Clemens asked food chain to sponsor its runway show at NYFW. White Castle not only sponsored the show, but hosted the after-party at its Times Square restaurant. Both brands partnered again in 2017 when TELFAR designed a new uniform for the family-owned company. Fashion brand has designed and produced three uniform collections for White Castle yet.
