Tesla Diner: The new electric stop in West Hollywood

Tesla has opened its first restaurant and drive-in theater in West Hollywood, combining charging, dining, and entertainment in a 24-hour space. The Tesla Diner, located along the historic Route 66, features 80 V4 Superchargers, two 20-meter LED screens, and a two-story structure with over 250 seats. It is now the largest urban Supercharging station in the world.

Designed by Stantec, the 890-square-meter building showcases a retrofuturistic style, with curved metal surfaces, neon details, and glass panels that reference mid-century American culture. The restaurant operates around the clock and includes a rooftop terrace called “Skypad” offering city views and direct access to the megapcreens for outdoor movie nights.

Orders can be placed from inside the restaurant or directly from the car via the Tesla vehicle’s touchscreen. Food is served at the driver’s window. The menu, created by chef Eric Greenspan, offers updated versions of American classics like burgers, hot dogs, chicken and waffles, and milkshakes, all packaged in Cybertruck-inspired containers.

In addition to food and charging services, Tesla Diner also sells exclusive merchandise, from branded apparel to a Tesla Bot figure and Tesla-themed sweets.

Solar canopies cover part of the charging area and help reduce approximately 12 million kilograms of CO₂ emissions per year. The concept redefines the roadside stop as an experience tailored to electric vehicle drivers and curious visitors alike.
