Looking back to the autumn/winter of 2020, the Japanese brand Midorikawa is back with a collection that drinks from the clothes of the 1800s.
Continuing with its unique expression of fashion, the brand’s latest proposal is composed of contemporary garments with all the essence of yesteryear. Once again, Midorikawa generously uses its most recognisable features: interventions on raw garments together with combinations of mending and hemming.
Relying on a wide range of linen, leather and textured fabrics, the Japanese brand has created truly eye-catching garments, refined tops and relaxed fits, all designed to play with layering.
In spite of the cut-out silhouettes and the extreme manipulation of the fabrics, Midorikawa is able to transmit sobriety and subtlety. The collection will soon reach selected retailers.
