NOAH and Barbour collaborate once again to present a joint collection that updates archival pieces. Included in NOAH’s spring-summer 2021 framework, the capsule dresses up Barbour’s classic silhouettes and/or its 1980s jackets with eclectic prints.
One of the jackets in this new co-branded episode is the Beaufort, one of the British brand’s most iconic jackets. This one is now reimagined in an all-over paisley print, while the second, Bedale, is reissued in a zebra print.
Cashmere and zebra prints also style a range of accessories such as a sports cap, a beanie, a bucket hat, or a backpack with stretch pockets.
In unveiling the collection, NOAH co-founder and creative director Brendon Babenzien said: “There is no substitute for quality. Barbour has always been synonymous with quality outerwear that not only stands up to the elements on behalf of its original owners but more often than not, endures far beyond. That’s why we love Barbour: it represents the best in quality and style, a combination you don’t often find.”
“This season’s prints are inspired by the eclectic style of English dressing and interiors; we appreciate how English youth have always taken quite traditional patterns and made them their own. Truly classic prints take on the personality of the wearer and can therefore be seen as conservative or wild depending on the attitude of the wearer.”
The SS21 collection will be available from 18 February on the Barbour and NOAH websites, as well as selected Dover Street Market shops.
