The GEL-Fratelli by Kiko Kostadinov, Brain Dead and Asics

After collaborating on the Levitrack GEL-QUANTUM model earlier this summer, Kiko Kostadinov and Asics are teaming up again with Californian brand Brain Dead to create a new limited edition GEL-Fratelli.

Every time Kiko Kostadinov and Asics get together they come up with sneakers worthy of collectors. This time, they go one step further and join forces with streetwear brand Brain Dead, creating a retro-futuristic design of the GEL-Fratelli model. If you like them, keep your eyes peeled because only 120 pairs will be released, so these are practically unique trainers.

The new GEL-Fratelli comes from the collective imagination of Kostadinov and Kyle Ng. The sneakers combine black leather and eclectic prints, imitating splashes of green paint or even pointillism. The other shoe follows the aesthetic of the GEL-Fratelli model in electric blue and yellow. In addition to laces, it also features Velcro.

The GEL-Fratelli by Kiko Kostadinov, Brain Dead and Asics will be available at Dover Street Market in Los Angeles on 15 August on the website and in the physical shop.
