The Conjuring house up for auction is located in Burrillville. It has over 3,000 m² of built space and sits on 8.5 acres of land. Its fame comes from the alleged paranormal phenomena experienced by the Perron family in the 1970s. Reports included strange smells, knocks on the walls, beds moving on their own, and voices with no clear origin.

The case was investigated by Ed and Lorraine Warren, a demonologist and a medium, whose work inspired the film franchise. According to their findings, the events were linked to Bathsheba Sherman, a 19th-century woman accused of practising witchcraft and said to have cursed the property.

The Perrons lived in the house for almost a decade before moving out. Since the film’s release in 2013, the farmhouse has become a cult location for horror fans.

The question now is who will dare to buy it when it goes to auction on Halloween. The starting price for the original The Conjuring house has not yet been disclosed.
