It seems that the alliance formed between Prada and Adidas continues, since as we have been able to know, both brands have just presented their last model of “sneaker”, designed jointly. These sneakers in question, respond to the name of “PRADA X ADIDAS A+P LUNA ROSSA 21” and will be available in two colours, “Mgh Solid Grey/Matte Silver/Red” and “Core Black/Red”.
These two latest models from Prada and Adidas perfectly bring together the past of both brands, both of which make a clear nod to the AC75 Luna Rossa vessel which, in turn, played into the fact that these shoes are sustainable and environmentally conscious and look to sailing as a whole for inspiration.
As for the first shoe model, the “Mgh Solid Grey/Matte Silver/Red”, it features a revamped PRIMEGREEN upper and is made from recycled materials, while the hydrophobic E-TPU outer shell is dipped in a semi-metallic shade of grey. The same goes for the full-length BOOST midsole covered in Continental rubber. Secondly, we can find the “Core Black/Red” version which is made in darker colours and with the same materials as the previous model. Both shoes feature the respective brand logos, the Adidas logo on the sides of the shoes and the Prada logo on the sides of the soles, as well as the distinctive red line on the back of the heel.
These Prada x Adidas sneakers will be availabe on 19 July on the brand’s website and in physical shops and will cost 550 euros (650 dollars).
