The Rocking Horse is Burberry’s latest novelty

Introduced during the Winter 2023 collection, the bag is inspired by the British brand’s creativity, innovative spirit and equestrian heritage.

Daniel Lee welcomes the new Burberry branding with the addition of the lower case b motif that corresponds to the closure of the Rocking Horse bag. Positioned at the front, it is complemented by a shoulder strap that attaches to the shoulder and joins the main body of the accessory via capital B stitching.

Some of the models have been designed following the house’s classic patterns such as the Burberry Check, introduced in the 1920s, or the Equestrian Knight Design, also known as EKD, engraved on the back, as well as vibrant plain colours such as red, cobalt blue or bottle green. Its rounded shape has been constructed using precise cutting techniques and a carved wooden mould through which to achieve the arched body.
