Snow Peak x Tokyo Design Studio New Balance reconnect their visionary codes in new concept sneakers. After presenting the modular boot last January, they are now launching the Niobium Concept 2 hybrid sandal, with which to explore from the city streets to the mountains.
Tokyo Design Studio New Balance, the NB subsidiary brand that develops more technological and avant-garde concepts, designs a new trail runner from the Niobium line. It features a New Balance Fresh Foam Hierro sole and a detachable heel strap to convert them into mules.
The sturdy, asymmetric sole provides stability and shock absorption, while a layer of Vibram® Mega Grip offers superior grip and traction. Breaking down the upper, we can see how the brands have updated the silhouette with breathable mesh and a strap equipped with a magnetic Fidlock buckle in heavy-duty synthetic leather.
The functional silhouette also features high-luminosity reflectors for improved visibility after dark. Finally, inspired by the duality of home and camping, in a journey between the two paths through both concrete and nature, they come in a dual colorway of asphalt black and olive green.
The Niobium Concept 2 by Snow Peak × TOKYO DESIGN STUDIO New Balance are now available on the Snow Peak website.
