As the colour palette for the summer season becomes clearer, we bring you the top colour trends for autumn-winter 2022 seen on the latest women’s catwalks.
Basics are reformulated and refined, while classic combinations take on a more sophisticated approach for FW22. Shades that never go out of style are making a comeback in certain materials, while PANTONE has created a new shade that will be everywhere.
Brown with glitter
The range of tans is enriched, and the darker shades seem to shine with shades of yellow and peach. The quality materials, soft but with a subtle sheen, enhance this colour and give a differential character to what is a basic tone: brown.
Sporty Pastel
The new colour combinations are inspired by retro sportswear. The pastel and muted colours that characterise these garments create refreshing colour combinations. In addition, light, sheer fabrics, as opposed to wool and knitted fabrics, provide a point of contrast.
Very Peri
This is the first time in history that PANTONE has created a colour between blue and violet. The catwalk has applied the Very Peri shade and the entire purple palette in party wear, especially in its total look format. Wearing this colour from head to toe will be a favourite choice for FW22.
