After the departure of Riccardo Tisci last September, Burberry has been on stand-by for a while. Now, the British fashion house is being reborn under the creative direction of Daniel Lee.
Captured by Tyrone Lebon and accompanied by original music by John Glacier, the new campaign showcases Burberry‘s first creative expression. Familiar and iconic faces such as Skepta, Jun Ji-hyun, Liberty Ross and Raheem Sterling welcome a new era.
Highlights include the introduction of the evolution of the iconic Equestrian Knight (also known as EKD) logo and emblem. Inspired by the brand’s archives, the original design was born in 1901 following a public competition to create a new logo won by the brand. It includes the Latin word ‘Prorsum’ meaning ‘forward’.
