In this second announcement, with which the line-up is closed, Mad Cool Festival announces the addition of 49 new confirmed artists.
New additions are The Offspring, Janelle Monáe, Mumford & Sons, Primal Scream, Ava Max, Morgan, Kevin Morby, Kurt Vile & The Violators, King Princess, Kaleo, Spoon, Dora, Walls, Night Club, Zetak, Sila Lua, PETTI, Ralphie Choo, Purple Disco Machine, Christian Löffler, Polo & Pan DJ Set, DJ Gigola, Boy Bleach, Stacey Ryan, STONE, Picture This, Mimi Webb, Choclock, Girli, Emotional Oranges, Cold Years, Ghouljaboy, Denis Sulta, Gerd Janson, AR/CO, ELYELLA, Raye, Peje, Himalayas and Maika Makovski.
The new headliner for Saturday will be Janelle Monáe, a dynamic mix of soul, funk, rhythm and blues, hip-hop, new wave… with an energetic conceptual approach that treats art and entertainment as indivisible.
Legends and innovators in the Southern California punk scene. With more than 50 million records sold, the Orange Country band is not only known for being a punk rock band, but also for incorporating many styles such as ska, grunge, metal… On Thursday, The Offspring will be in charge of revolutionising the stage with a live show that will be a declaration of intent.
Friday will have a special light thanks to the incorporation of Mumford & Sons. The legendary British band, or one of the greatest exponents and representatives of folk-rock worldwide, come to Mad Cool Festival to offer us and make us participate in a unique and unforgettable live show, where their most choreable anthems, along with their unmistakable melodies and riffs, will be the protagonists.
From Glasgow, we will have Primal Scream, a rock band led by Bobby Gillespie. An essential name to understand the 90s scene that will undoubtedly make us sing along on Saturday 8th with great songs such as “Movin’ on Up”, “Loaded” and “Country Girl”.
International pop plus Genz and Ava Max are synonymous. American singer and songwriter who has carved out a niche for herself in mainstream pop. With more than 11 billion plays worldwide, and a variety of interesting collaborations, she has proven that the title of pop superstar is hers.
The national spot will come from Morgan. A group that perfectly blends the most up-tempo folk-rock with funk, gospel and the most classic soul. Exquisite songs painted with her incomparable voice, performed live by a band polished to the millimetre, transmitting class, taste and beauty. We will also be able to enjoy other important names on the national scene such as Dora, Walls, Sila Lua, Ghouljaboy, PETTI and Ralphie Choo.
Also joining this new announcement are the 9 winners of the first edition of “Mad Cool DJ Talent by Vibra Mahou” thanks to which they managed, after passing all the stages of the contest, to be part of the most clubbing essence of the festival: Víctor Carré b2b Body-O, Loopi.ta, Armis, Mobox, Álvaro Valero, Miss Deep’in, Chalkyninenine, DJ Trapella, L.A.S DJs.
Thus, the final line-up for Mad Cool Festival 2023 consists of 101 bands, with names as relevant as The Black Keys, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Lizzo, Queens of the Stone Age, Sam Smith, The 1975, Nova Twins, Robbie Williams, Lil Nas X, Franz Ferdinand, Tash Sultana, Paolo Nutini, Rina Sawayama, Jamie XX, Machine Gun Kelly, … among others.
