We first saw the capsule at the MM6 Maison Margiela runway show. Eastpak’s iconic fanny packs and backpacks were turned inside out to reveal a collage of custom patches.
MM6 Maison Margiela’s fall/winter fashion show was the stage on which the fruits of its collaboration with Eastpak were revealed. The accessories collection conceived by the two ranges from backpacks to fanny packs, which come in colors such as blue, red, white or black. Also faithful to this range is one of MM6’s key accessories: the Japanese bag. This time, it takes on a more casual look by replacing its usual leather with Eastpak’s signature canvas fabric.
On the other hand, the typical stitching of the luxury brand appears alongside the Eastpak logo on the front of the accessories, mimicking the aesthetics of a reverse label.
The accessories of this capsule collaboration will be available on the Maison Margiela website and in selected stores starting in September.
