Timothée Chalamet designs a sweatshirt for charities

Timothée Chalamet and Haider Ackermann have designed a sweatshirt to fight the humanitarian crisis in Afghanistan.

Timothée Chalamet’s latest project is not the Willy Wonka movie he is filming in England, but a fashion collaboration. Together with designer and friend Haider Ackermann, they have designed a hoodie to help the humanitarian crisis in Afghanistan.

The funds raised from the young talent’s sweatshirt will go to an organisation that helps children and women in Afghanistan, due to the great humanitarian crisis that the region is suffering, where human rights do not exist for this part of society.

Timothée Chalamet’s influence on fashion in the last two years is undeniable. The actor, who shot to fame with Call me by your name and now triumphs worldwide with Dune, announced the collaboration on Instagram with a photo of Ackermann and himself wearing the hoodie.

The white hoodie features an image of a woman’s eyes with a blue filter. “We were horrified to learn about the humanitarian crisis in Afghanistan and decided to design a hoodie where all proceeds would go to @afghanistanlibre: an NGO that protects the rights of women and children.”

If you want to help Afghan women and children regain their rights and have a free education, you can buy the sweatshirt here.
