UNIQLO and Clare Waight Keller skilfully blend sophistication and simplicity

Through the Spring 2024 UNIQLO: C collection, which presents new wardrobe basics that are light, comfortable, fresh and vibrant.

The perfect everyday pieces come from the Japanese retailer and the British designer, who meet again this season to offer functional and feminine silhouettes in a colour palette that combines poppy red, powder pink, turquoise blue and army green.

Highlights include a side pleated dress, a trench coat in technical fabric, wide and voluminous trousers, knitted waistcoats and short T-shirts, as well as accessories in the form of baseball caps and faux leather bags.

“In this second collection for UNIQLO: C I wanted to explore the concept of movement through lightness. Working with ultra-lightweight fabrics, I found a new perspective on proportions. Longer volumes play with cropped silhouettes. Fluidity and freshness were key elements in creating its spirit,” says Clare Waight Keller.
