Urban culture is the starting point for Dr. Martens x A-COLD-WALL*

A fusion of design and functionality. The new Dr. Martens collaboration with A-COLD-WALL* is an architectural reinterpretation of the classic 1461 shoes. A new drop from both brands who previously surprised us with a re-design of the 1461 in grey.

Thanks to the visionary eye of Samuel Ross, founder and creative director of ACW*, DM‘s timeless 1461 silhouette undergoes a design overhaul that brings to mind images of a mix of brutalist and functional architecture.

The 1461 Bex ACW features the Iced Sole and DM‘s classic black Smooth leather back strap. The upper of the shoe innovates with a double strap in the same material, hidden Ghillie laces and the A-COLD-WALL* logo stamped in silver foil on the side. The silhouette is finished with rivets in silver material and an insole with the logos of both brands.

 

The new version designed in collaboration between Dr. Martens and A-COLD-WALL* will be launched on 4 November via a-cold-wall.com. They will be available on drmartens.com from 6 November.
