Versace FW18 | The essence of Gianni continues

It is undeniable that Donatella (@donatella_versace) has done a great job in the last two seasons within Versace. The previous season (SS18) decided to return Medusa to the status that had been stolen from her in recent years. Again in this collection and as in the men’s collection, although to a lesser extent, gold and Medusa have their protagonism. Consolidating in this way the new line of the firm and the return to the essence of Versace‘s 90s, the essence of Gianni.

In the coming winter, the Versace woman will wear colourful Scottish fabrics, alone or in combination with denim, wearing football gabber scarves to cover her throats and all adorned with “gold” coloured accessories with ornaments and the face of the protector as the protagonist.

In addition, pleated and smooth skirts supported at the top of the waist will be protected by wide black leather belts and a huge buckle that will delight the most faithful of the house.

A mix of fabrics with a certain patchwork look on occasion, skins, femininity and elegance that augur well for a FW18 full of the nature that Gianni used to imbue in every piece, bravo Donatella!
