The Versace Fall / Winter 2019 show was one of the most long-desired of the Milan Fashion Week. After the company had been bought by Capri Holdings, the public was anxious to know where Versace had derived its new stage.
The result has been a real consolation: the designs still retain their Italian airs and have maintained their status as one of the reigning catwalk firms.
The new season of the brand proposes to continue with the logomania fever, with garments that remind us of an album of plates of the 80s or sweatshirts with the logo of Ford that promise to be seen a lot this 2019. In the fashion parade, there has also been the characteristic baroque print of Versace in golden and black tones, with new textures and materials that reinvent the classic of the house.
Versace FW19 bets entirely on nostalgia. Their new pieces reinvent the classics of the 90s, with silhouettes that even remind us of the seasons that Gianni Versace himself presented, such as black dresses, with asymmetrical cut or gold details. Some looks scream with combinations of fuchsia, yellow and black, with a fun air and chromatic chaos that detracts from the total blacklook with which the parade has started.
