Donatella Versace finds inspiration in the Y2K aesthetic and adapts Versace’s signature motifs through slim-fit pieces.
Versace‘s women’s Pre-Fall 22 line is characterised above all by saturated tones and clashing designs. Other highlights include references to workwear and a new take on the Barocco print.
Preppy style is immortalised in tweed mini-skirt suits, while headscarves add a more avant-garde touch. Coats cinched at the waist are paired with latex boots for a look full of elegance. Cut-outs and platforms, two of the most characteristic elements of the dosmilera aesthetic, also take over most of the outfits.
The rhinestone details also stand out in the biker jacket that matches the pastel pink leather skirt, in the dresses and sets made up of tops and mini skirts, as well as in the bags. The fashion house‘s motif is coloured in most of the designs.
